Poll, are insects getting smarter?

I have noticed that sneaking up behind a fly to swat it is now useless. They seem to have developed a sixth sense, because only a few years ago, flies appeared to almost enjoy being swatted.

i am noticing a similar scenario with small fish a work. they are becoming more and more whiley. even the lttle bald guy who stnds on the box struggles to catch them now, and he is a fish catching god. tey have learned is weakness (short arms)

thats pretty cool actually adam, but i never win anything, so i guess my head is safe... for now
